Elementary Aged Artists:
(grades K-rising 6th) Curtain Call is a week long, half-day camp with a morning session from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and an afternoon session from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. We're excited to offer a new Curtain Call curriculum this year! The half day sessions typically have the same curriculum in the morning and afternoon, with different performance and dance pieces. Campers are grouped with peers of similar age and grade, with counselors that stay with the group at all times. The groups rotate to four stations - Acting, Tech Theatre, Music & Movement, and Performance. The campers learn a dance at the Music & Movement station and craft a short performance at the Performance station throughout the week. The Acting and Music and Movement stations will teach campers the ins and outs of performing through interactive theatre games. Realizing that putting on a top notch show involves more than just the actors and actresses performing on stage , Tech Theater teaches the campers what it takes to create, direct, and execute an amazing show On Friday the campers show off what they learned during the week in a short performance on the Robinson Russell Theater Main Stage (11:15 a.m. for Curtain Call AM, 3:15 p.m. for Curtain Call PM). Each week has a different theme, with dress up days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday that correspond with the theme.

FITT groups consist of about 10-15 campers, with FITT counselors that stay with the groups throughout the day. Each week has a different theme, with dress up days that correspond with the theme. As with Curtain Call, new curriculum is offered each week, so campers are encouraged to come multiple weeks! Middle School & High School Artists:
STAGE DOOR THEATRE WORKSHOP
(rising 7th – 9th) Stage Door focuses on forming an ensemble where artists collaborate to create an original full length play. Young artists engage in theatre activities and games that promote group communication, learn choreography and music, write/craft original pieces, and work on scenes. The final performance is based on a theme, and weaves in and out of group and solo work, musical pieces, comedy, drama, original student created pieces, and musical/dance performances. Every artist is featured, whether through song, dance, or scene work in this amazing integrated original performance. This is an incredible workshop for both new theatre students and those with lots of experience! STAGE DOOR focuses on relationships, the creative process, and expanding an artist’s perspective and experience! This workshop fills quickly, and space is very limited, so register early!
