Production Contract Packet
                                                  Welcome to The Show

1)  To read at callbacks, you must return your signed ECC & Production Contract (always read what you sign!).  To get a script if cast, you must return the signed contract portion of this packet.  The scripts may be marked up but must be returned after the show. You will pay for any damage or loss.

2)  On the back of the contract you must indicate any dates/times when you will not be able to attend rehearsals, or will be late/have to leave early.  We will do our best to be understanding about these conflicts, BUT any conflicts which are not listed will cause problems for everyone else who was counting on you to be there.

3)  If you MUST miss a rehearsal (other than conflict sheet dates), you MUST MUST MUST leave word BEFORE the fact, with a stage manager.  Do this by message in the mailbox in the drama room, or by phone, or on the call board.  Do not send messages with other cast members/friends-- that is a system proven to be unreliable.  We do not presume that absence from class means absence from rehearsal.  LET US KNOW !!!
Multiple absences may jeopardize your role even if they are prearranged and excused. The drama room phone is
703-426-2123 . Check the website for a list of rehearsals (www.RobinsonDrama.org)

4)  If transportation to/from rehearsal is a problem, we have a whole list of Drama Boosters (Parents) who have agreed to help out if necessary.  Do not ever let transportation be your reason for missing a rehearsal.  Contact another cast member or a booster or ask us to.

5)  If you want a show garment, you must order it immediately, though you can pay for it later.  Signing up does obligate you to buy it (none are given out until all are paid for).

6)  All aspects of the show are your concern.  Do not rely on the Props/Costumes/Set Crews to prepare all the trappings for you.  We need a lot of help, and that means you.  Look at the prop list. What do you have around that might be fitting?  Bring it in!!Let us decide if it's best to use.

7)  The show is expected to cost mucho bucks to produce.  Encourage your Parents/friends to take out a Program ad.  With a potential audience of 1250, this is a good investment!  Remember, less income means more modest sets/costumes.

8)  Check the call-board DAILY for last-minute changes in rehearsal content or times or locations.  All other important messages will be posted there, too.  Stay informed!

9)  If this packet does not contain the following, let the stage manager know immediately:

Cover Sheet
Production Contract
2 Rehearsal Calendars (one for the locker, one for the refrigerator)
Prop List
Parents Help Questionnaire
** Cast Carpool List will be distributed at the first rehearsal
Program Ad Sheet
Ticket Order Form

10)  Got any questions?  Call your stage manager. (Phone numbers on the calendar)

* All Extracurricular Participation Policy regulations are in force (expulsion from the show for tobacco, alcohol, or illegal drug use; 3 periods of class required to participate after school that day, etc.)
